Bread is one of the most valuable fruits of bee work. For many generations it has been an invaluable element of apitherapy (a healing method using bee products) . In addition, it is an essential part of the diet of hard-working insects. Bee bread (also called bee bread) comes in the form of small lumps with a dark brown and golden color, which at first glance may resemble small pebbles.
Bee bread is actually pollen that has been processed by bees. The process of its formation consists in mixing this substance with insect saliva, and then transporting it to the hive. After adhering to the discs, the pollen begins to undergo lactic acid fermentation processes. This allows the hive to survive in the hive for many months. Interestingly, based on numerous observations, it has been found that bees that consume beeberries have better health and live longer than other hive residents. It sometimes happens that there are not enough bee bugs for all bees. Therefore, it is given first to the offspring and the queen.
Beebee has long been called the elixir of youth. No wonder, because it is an excellent substance of nutrients, vitamins and minerals. All this is due to the combination of pollen, honey and secretions from the salivary glands of bees, which are an invaluable source of valuable enzymes. It is worth knowing that the bee (and the valuable substances it contains) is much easier for the human body to digest than the pollen itself. In addition to being readily available, it also contains valuable vitamins. Above all: vitamins A, B vitamins, vitamins C, D, H, E and K. The valuable minerals contained in bee bread are also important. The following deserve special attention at this point: magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, phosphorus, potassium and sodium. Interestingly, Bee Bee is characterized by a lower protein and fat content compared to conventional bee pollen.
