DESCRIPTION

Organic plantain peels are valuable due to their very high fiber content. In the presence of water, they release mucus and form a gel that facilitates the movement of the contents in the intestines. The peels can be consumed as a beverage, poured over water, milk, or fruit juice. They can also be used as an additive to bread or as a thickener for soups and sauces. Psyllium husks are particularly recommended in combination with psyllium in a ratio of 20% peels to 80% seeds in the form of so-called psyllium husks, which provide essential fiber.

RECOMMENDED CONSUMPTION
Do not consume more than 5 teaspoons per day and be careful when feeding to children. Drinking plenty of fluids while consuming the peels is recommended.
