Ground galangal (Alpinia) is one of the herbs recommended in the St. Hildegard diet. This spice is suitable for meat (also smoked), Asian and Indian dishes. Galgantu rhizomes contain Alpinone and Gaganlo essential oils, which are responsible for a pungent, bitter taste that is a little reminiscent of ginger.

Serving suggestion: Add 1-3 pinches of ground galangal to dishes such as meat or vegetables. It can also be added to marinades, squash, compotes, etc.
