Natto is a traditional dish that has been popular in Japan for generations due to its positive properties. It is produced by fermenting soybeans using a strain of Bacillus subtilis natto bacteria. The history of its preparation dates back almost 1,000 years!

Relatively recently, researchers discovered that natto contains a unique enzyme - nattokinase - which exhibits fibrinolytic activity.
