ProAntro® is a patented, powdered mycelium of Antrodia camphorata - a unique fungus found only in Taiwan that grows on the trunks of centuries-old evergreen camphor trees (Cinnamomum kanehirai).

The fungus Antrodia camphorata, revered in Taiwanese tradition for centuries, has become known as the 'King of Longevity' thanks to its high content of beneficial bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, polyphenols, polysaccharides, triterpenoids, and antioxidant enzymes. Antrodia also contains a unique substance called anthroquinonol.

Due to its uniqueness, both the fungus and the camphor trees have been protected by the Taiwanese government and may only be harvested under strictly controlled conditions to ensure the highest quality of the ingredient.

The anthroquinonol-containing fungus Antrodia camphorata has been the subject of clinical studies examining, among other things, its liver-protective properties, reduction of liver steatosis, and mitigation of the effects of alcohol consumption.
