DESCRIPTION

Hyaluronic acid is an endogenous substance in the form of sodium salt. The greatest amounts of acid are found in the skin, synovial fluid and vitreous humor of the eye. Hyaluronic acid is also a component of body fluids and connective tissue. It is a building block of blood vessel walls.
