Cold-pressed Evening Primrose Oil Oils of the World 250ml Oleofarm

Evening primrose oil is obtained from the seeds of the evening primrose plant by cold pressing. It has a delicate taste and a fine aroma. It is suitable for preparing salads and salad side dishes as well as an addition to meat and fish dishes served cold. Evening primrose oil is characterized by its high content of unsaturated fats, including polyunsaturated fats, which also include omega-6 fatty acids. The acids of the omega-6 family are linoleic acid (LA) and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), which are contained in evening primrose oil. Linoleic acid contributes to the maintenance of a normal cholesterol level in the blood. The positive effect occurs when 10 g of LA is consumed daily. Replacing saturated fats in the diet with unsaturated fats contributes to the maintenance of a normal cholesterol level.

APPLICATION
The oil should be consumed cold, e.g. as an addition to salads, sauces or dips.
