Lutein is a naturally occurring yellow-orange pigment from the group of carotenoids. The "free" lutein contained in the product comes from the extract of the marigold. The most important property of carotenoids is their antioxidant effect (they neutralize the harmful effects of free radicals), lutein (one of the carotenoids with the strongest antioxidant properties) neutralizes free radicals that are formed in the eyeball under the influence of sunlight and oxidative damage they initiate. Most lutein accumulates in the macula - the structure of the eye responsible for color vision and image sharpness. Lutein (along with zeaxanthin) is found in the retina of the eye and in the lens.
Zeaxanthin belongs to the group of carotenoids, substances found in vegetables and fruits. The OmniXan Zeaxanthin contained in the product is a patented carotenoid obtained from pepper fruits. Zeaxanthin is found in the lens and retina of the eye, particularly in the macula, which is responsible for visual acuity. The most important property of carotenoids is their antioxidant effect (they neutralize the harmful effects of free radicals). Zeaxanthin (one of the carotenoids with the most powerful antioxidant properties), which accumulates mainly in the ocular tissue, supports the destruction of free radicals formed under the influence of daylight rays and the oxidative damage they trigger. Thanks to its action, zeaxanthin relieves the symptoms of eye fatigue and supports the visual process.

INGREDIENTS
Lutein, zeaxanthin, sunflower oil, capsule shell: gelatin, humectant: glycerin, safflower oil, natural tocopherols.

APPLICATION
One capsule daily. Do not exceed recommended servings for consumption throughout the day. The product cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. The product is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
