Glycyrrhizin (glycyrrhizic acid) is the main active ingredient contained in the smooth licorice root. Glycyrrhizic acid is an organic compound belonging to the group of saponins and is about 50 times sweeter than sucrose.

The preparation contains a standardized licorice root extract, which contains 98% glycyrrhizic acid.

This high-quality extract is a product of the Sabinsa Corporation, whose quality has been confirmed by numerous clinical studies.

The product is suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets. The capsules are made from plant-based cellulose.

Ingredients: Inulin (chicory root), licorice root extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra), standardized to 98% glycyrrhizin, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) (capsule shell).

The formulation also contains inulin from chicory root, which acts as a natural stabilizer in the capsule. Inulin is classified among the prebiotics.
