BIOETIQ Abyssinian Oil is obtained from the seeds of the annual oil plant Crambe abyssinica. This oil has been known for hundreds of years. The natural range is the Mediterranean and the area of Africa and East Africa, especially Abyssinia (modern-day Ethiopia). This unique oil is being rediscovered for its exceptional and nourishing properties.

PROPERTIES

The purpose of using Abyssinian oil in preparations for skin care is to achieve light absorption, lubricity and intensive moisture supply even with very dry skin. In addition, it is used as a powerful anti-wrinkle ingredient that reduces the signs of aging. The unique and nourishing properties of Abyssinian oil result from the high content of long-chain unsaturated fatty acids and fatty acids with a predominance of erucic acid, which is unique among all oils, while the proportion of saturated and fatty acids is relatively low. As a result, Abyssinian oil remains an extremely light oil and does not leave a greasy feeling after application.
