Ainess bovine colostrum is 40% bovine colostrum standardized for dry matter content, not protein content. Colostrum is bovine colostrum or young animal derived from cow's milk. Colostrum is produced in the first several dozen hours after birth. It is yellow in colour. It differs in composition from milk, and the main difference concerns the content of immunoglobulins with antibodies and nutritional value. Over time, the composition of colostrum changes - the amount of proteins decreases and the amount of sugars and lipids, which form the fuel, increases.
The product contains 19 exogenous amino acids, contains immunoglobulins, in particular IgG, IgM, IgA, IgE, IgD and PRP classes (proline), lactoferrin (a protein from the group of transferrins) and vitamins and minerals. It contains vitamins B1, B2, B6, C, E and A as well as the minerals phosphorus, calcium, potassium, magnesium and sodium. Lactose, milk sugar, is contained in colostrum. Its amount is much smaller than in milk. However, it is enough to become a source of energy by breaking down lactose into lactic acid and to influence the regulation of the composition and activity of the intestinal flora. This amount is also so small that it shouldn't cause digestive problems in people who are lactose intolerant. The dietary supplement should not be used in children over the age of 3 years due to possible allergies to milk proteins.
