Black cumin oil is made by cold-pressing the seeds of black cumin (Nigella sativa). The low-temperature pressing of the oil preserves the valuable ingredients of the seeds, including polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. Black seed supplementation should last at least 3 to 6 months as it takes time to see the clear benefits of polyunsaturated fats.
The highest quality, cold-pressed black cumin oil is a natural product, free from preservatives and artificial additives. It is a pure, unrefined product, which means it retains the most valuable properties of the seeds from which it is derived. Black cumin oil (also: pharaoh cumin) is an aromatic oil that gives cold-prepared dishes an interesting, spicy note. In cosmetics it is used for skin and hair care.
